Follow Warhol's steps in NYC by staying in apartment 6... In the 60's, the building was owned by a film director/producer named Paul Morrissey (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Morrissey). He and Andy Warhol lived in NYC making cheap pop art movies. This floor in the building served as the film studio and editing facility. We know this from city records for the building as well as reference by other directors like Vincent Fremont (http://thirdcoastdigest.com/2009/10/vincent-fremont-on-andy-warhol-he-was-an-energy-force/) to the townhouse on sixth street. Warhol more than likely spent a good amount of time working with Morrisey editing movies and other projects here. There is rumor floating around (to be confirmed) that Joe Dellesandro (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Dallesandro), a Warhol/Morrisey star in many of their movies lived on the fourth floor of the building for a few years.
It has been totally remodelled and features maple floors, a kitchenette, full bathroom and a back bedroom that sleeps 2 guest in W HOTEL beds and a 32 inch flatscreen HD TV with 12 channels in english and 4 in spanish.
Additionally, 2 other guests can sleep in the living area in the daybed and a rollaway bed, both twin size.

It is at garden level so we have taken extra steps to insulate the noise, and reinforced security.
The front facing windows have burglar bars on them. The one side bedroom window has wire metal enforced glass and two separate windows on them for sound and security. There is a metal gate and the apartment door is fire rated metal door.
As all the other units, we offer it with all the amenities that you need to live in a great urban place away from home: Large HD plasma TV, Ipod dock, free wifi, Central heating, A/C (or fans if you don't like A/C), doors which open with a code, and the best building manager who lives onsite!
